I wish it was one week earlier for that reason. If you were to just attend Tuesday and leave Friday you’d at least get to experience the size of this event at its peak. It’s a lot of work for me to make it happen again. Shipping my airplane on air cargo next week, have to pick it up M-F...- AKNick

Sport Racing plane for 3 cylinder Kolm engine.
During your builds I always notice how everything fits very nicely, the wood is always clean/sanded, and no excess glue. Bravo!- AKNick

Took the TA Horizons Stol X out for its maiden flight along with my pocket radio on ELRS. Everything went great. The plane flies quite slow with flaperons, 2S won’t let it 3D much, so might try 3S. They don't add a lot of weight; I'd still use them even if using thin balsa. I always figured the advantage is to create rigidity of the noodle spars - thus reducing the flex in the wing at a very small weight penalty. You can always buy an external ELRS module if you want later down the road. I got the CNC gimbals for it, I don't think they are worth the hype and the plastic ones felt less clunky to me. Otherwise the fit and feel of this radio is quite nice and ergonomic!- AKNick
