Looks great Mike. There is an art to putting a DLG together. Watch plenty of videos and you will be fine.

It's a profile and my design is about all I will say currently. As for the wing tube that where I'm using the wing tube and phenolic out of a old crashed EF 60" Extra. The phenolic wasn't quite long enough. Since the phenolic is more of just a guide for the tube I'm splicing two pieces together...

Only covering that will be done is a few minor patches. The one wing is destroyed so I'm just ordering a new panel. as for repairing the fuse, EF sells motor box kits so it should be fairly easy to repair it.

Picked up a crashed 104" EF Extra 260 from a buddy. Best price ever of free. It needs a motor box kit, new cowl, and a right wing but its getting repaired.

They will get additional backing. Currently with them on there I'm 1/4" shy of the hub sticking out enough to give me the spinner clearance I would like. I have made some 1/4" thick washers from some scrap delrin just need to install them.

Getting closer to getting my first 120cc airframe in the air. A buddy had an unfortunate incident with his 104" EF Extra 260. Decided he is going with all new equipment on his next airframe so gave me the GP123. It needs an ignition module as the wire where pulled out of the box and one muffler...

Just need to install pushrods, servos, and a RX and the little girls first build will be ready for a maiden. Covering scheme was 100% her idea.

    Joe Nall 2025

One event I would love to make but they schedule it for a horrible time. They always start the event on Mothers Day weekend which I don't understand and then the weekend after when its ending is my wedding anniversary so its a no go for me.

Sport Racing plane for 3 cylinder Kolm engine.

Assuming you're referring to this as its the first thing that came up when I googled MH17 airfoil. Let me look and figure it out. May have to literally put all of the coordinates in by hand.

MY thoughts on shear webs. Yes glue them to the sides. If fitted between the spars its just a butt joint then and will add almost zero extra strength. As for ones on the rear spar. No need to do them full length of the wing but I would run them from the root rib out to the rib your wing tube...

Yes. Originally designed for a speed 400 and big NICAD setup. I went with a park 370 and hoping to get away with like a 850mah 3S pack but will see how it balances out.

We've been getting more done on the little girls glider. Just need to cover the top of the wing then we can get the rest of the electronics installed. She is excited to see it all come together.
