    If you set everything up right and with a large enough normal receiver, you wont need it at all. I run wolverine switches with 2 batts and 2 power cables to the rx or a spectrum powersafe on evrything up to 40%

    Welp, I retarded the timing as far as it can go, soldered the choke butterfly hole and it still wont start. So I am set on the fact the carb is just bad. Now its a waiting game for the new carb to show up :(

    Thanks Bunky! Kole (limitless aero) is sending me another carb to try out and help troubleshoot this motor down. Ill also try that start sequence and move my sensor. Thanks!

    I have had problems starting mine, Jetpainter; What is your start sequence? Also, my timing is as advanced as it can go but it looks that way form the factory. Should I retard it a bit?

    My 40% pilot extra 260 needed some tail weight plus I mounted the batteries behind the hatch. I made a little tray for them and it never complained once. Add the weight. Im sure itll be fine.

    That's why I use white gorilla glue. Never had a hinge come out on my 40% pilot. After you glue, simply use a q-tip with alcohol on it for 10 minutes or so wiping the over flow and you are good. If a bit gets into the hinge it will break away after its dry with a little flexing.

    +1 on felt clunks. The Walboro ones can be fond in any small engine shop and they work great. They hold a lot of fuel also to prevent deadsticks on downlines and what not.

    32 is way heavy IMO. I have a 1.5L in my 40% pilot running a DA150. I have my timer on my 50cc bird set a 9mins and I fly to 10 with a few mins to spare if I need to on the 16 oz. if you need to fly longer than that before landing and filling the tank again then I'd go for an 18oz smart water...

    If I were running my Talon 90 in a 25% plane instead of a 60"er I would run straight unregulated or a Bec Pro anyway, Just like I do on my Velox and an ICE 100. A separate point of failure is a good piece of mind over KISS on occasion.

    Btw for those looking for a great semibudget motor the "t-motor's" from hobby parts are really nice. I put one on my crack slick and have been very impressed. The quality is first rate also.
