Maybe your timing on the sticks needs to be a touch different with this plane in order to get the tumble your after. Every plane is a little different...

    3DHS 70" Velox

If i had to decide like right now I'd get blue and go gas. But, I would like to try an electric plane this size someday since I've never had one. But I really enjoy long flight times. Hmmmm. Oh, and I see that it is yellow not orange now. Woops.

    airframe life

Hey Joe. How long do your airframes last with the way you punish them in the sky? I just re-watched one of your 103 extra demo's, and I'm surprised the plane didn't burst into a cloud of balsa at times. Do you ever find yourself making repairs or replacing airframes just from flying them so hard?

Hey I can see the writing on the wall for me already. I'm getting grouchier all the time! To be fair, I used to get a lot of complaints about my flying there, but lately the complaints have all turned into compliments. I guess they are starting to recognize 3D as a valid type of flying...

Well, I'm going to be attending the local RC club meeting tonight. Going to be a LOT of old (no seriously, these guys are old!) guys there. Last time I went an argument started about weather a very positive letter about a recent pattern contest the club had hosted should be published in the...

Ironically, the only prize I have a prayer of winning is the grand prize. 1:18 odds are not that bad either. When will the winner be announced?

Red Bull Stratos - freefall from the edge of space ***LIVE NOW***

I put the live stream up on my TV and was surprised to have the whole family join me to watch it. It was very cool. I was a little worried when I saw him spinning.

IMHO chatter is just a part of garage sales. But, if you want to get around it, do an advanced search for posts by horton and keep refreshing that page. You will only see what you want to see then. Keep another tab open with "I'll take item " ready to go in the reply box.

FAQ I'm new to 3D... where do I start?

First time I've heard anything bad about the 8FG. Me and another guy I fly with love ours. Plus I see a lot of them being used at huckfest.

    Focus areas

A shucks. Thanks Joe. I still have a long way to go though! But that's part of what makes this hobby great; always more to learn and improve on. Getting ideas from your Dad while flying is a good idea. Two heads are better then one! ;)

Primo .15 size 3D Profile Build Thread

I run 3S 1300's. Gives about 7 minute flights. So far I've run Gforce batt's from valuehobby, and gensace from hobbypartz. The gensace are great, no complaints. They are only now after several hundred flights starting to loose their punch and I think tha'ts probably due to being stored in...
