    I had retarded the timing from 30 to 28 for breaking in the GP as it pops a lot at 30-31 degrees. I advanced it back, to 30, today and went from 6670 rpm to 7000 on a GP Pitts. Much better!....the weight is not an issue and the poping is gone

    I doubled checked it on a friends postal scale and it is 18.5lbs. Oh well I guess I won't fill the batteries and fuel tank up all the way to save weight.

    Just finished and it weights 18.5lbs without fuel. Thats heavier than I thought it would be with: GP61, Pitts, DB spinner, pants, pilot, two 2100 life batts, Ibef...... Thoughts?

    I just purchased one of these. I'll be using a gp61 with a GP Pitts muffler. What prop are you guys using? I have a cf falcon 24 x 9. Where are you putting your batteries with the extra weight from the Pitts? I'll be using Savox 1231's and a 1230 for the rudder. Two 2100 life's and a...
