    3dhs 89 slick

My 89 is almost ready for a maiden I'm using the dle 60 twin and looks like I have to move some stuff back to get the Cg close, with the heavier motor and smoke pump on the motor box opposite the ign. It's nose heavy. There's not alot of places to mount the pump behind the spar (at least on the...

QQ yak 54 73" power setup

Finally got to fly again got to flights on the yak in the blistering cold 24 deg. It felt really good I like the tacon it had plenty power on 19x8 prop. This plane is my only 30cc size electric so I can't compare to others yet. No prob pulling out of hovers. This plane seems easier to do...

QQ yak 54 73" power setup

Nah I haven't had a chance yet been to busy with work and family stuff. I did get new batts and that solved my problem. The motor feels pretty powerful , full throttle has some good pull. Ill let you know if I get a chance to fly it.

QQ yak 54 73" power setup

I did get to maiden mine but had a problem with one of my batts it was sagging and hitting lvc with anything over 1/2 throttle but I did fly for 1-2mins and it seemed ok I didn't get to go inverted to check the Cg but it felt good and landed so easy so the Cg has to be close I ordered some...

QQ yak 54 73" power setup

Ill get some pics for you, I didn't have to build anything on it, it is a used plane and was originally powered by a glow engine. I'm lucky it balanced ok so far cause there's not much of a tray to move the batts around if its tail heavy ill need to add a piece of ply to bridge the gap between...

QQ yak 54 73" power setup

I just finished putting all the gear in mine today, tacon 1.10 , solar d771's, cc ice , 2-2s 1000mah and 2 4s 3700's. it seems to have balanced pretty good it's right in front of the wing spar (no test flights yet maybe next week) to be sure the Cg is good. The manual list the Cg numbers but...

I have the same exact plane and I have yet to fly it so my advice is based on the research I've done sofar. I am doing the same as you 8s setup and am going the cheapie rought for servos and motor. I heard good things about the tacon Bigfoot 1.10 motor from hobbypartz it's kv is good for 8s and...

    3dhs 92" edge 540 !!!

Sorry to be off topic a little but i think theres a chance it might work on the 92. I am doing the twin 60 in my 89 and it fits pretty good besides cutting the exhaust exit holes I only had to cut a small hole to make clearance for one plug wire. If the fuse of the 92 is 1/4" wider then the 89...
