    A piece of music wire from the LHS makes great landing gear for the buck.5 and similar planes.....much more "springy" than the stock wire.

    1) robj is either really good or just flies too high. ;) 2) I put a small slice of glow fuel tube behind the washer....the friction keeps the bolts from backing out....no locktite.

    Flying with common sense should get us all under the DB limit. Last time there I flew a pair of 120's with wood VESS props and they were only too loud on WFO unloaded passes. I plan on coming to the event with a nice dose of respect for the club and a little throttle control.....

    104slick isn't bad for IMAC either...slows a little more in down line than the 103. I've never flown an EF 104 extra to compare though....

    I had pro-flows on my 103 extra. I just vented the openings in the bottom of the fuse. It worked very well for me.
