    2nd Annual 3DHS Mid-America Fly-Low-In - June 27-30, 2013 Cape Girardeau, MO

I can't wait until this years event, it's going to be a blast. Here in the near future, I'm going to start rolling out footage from last years event, just to get everyone excited. Once the club has approved this year's shirt, we'll also post some sneak peaks. Now that we have an idea on the...

Build Log Portable Charging Station Build with Duel Powerlab 8s

Zeus Power Box Intro I first wanted to discuss why I wanted to take on this project. I outgrew my Hitec X4 AC Plus Multi-Charger and needed to upgrade to something with more power that would not only charge larger batteries but charge them faster. Most high-powered chargers require a separate...

    Question? Portable charging station questions

I'm currently building a portable charging station and will be using 2 Power24+ supplies to power 2 PowerLab 8 chargers. I'm stuffing all that into a Pelican Storm 23 and would like to add an intake and exhaust fan in the case for cooling, however I'm not electrician. I've included an image of...

    Mounting the Castle ICE 75

I glued an extra rx tray I had, under the front of the motor box to help distribute the weight. I have some foam that was used as packing for my Hacker motor, but it's pretty hard. Where do you guys get your soft foam, like the type you use to pad a gas tank.

    Mounting the Castle ICE 75

Yeah, I meant light ply. Good to hear about the placement, I hate having to push the battery so far forward that you need 3 hands and some hemostats just to tighten the battery straps.

    Mounting the Castle ICE 75

I'm going to run the Castle ICE 75 speed controller in my 3DHS 58" Edge. Because it's so much heavier than the ICE Lite 75, I'm a bit concerned with simply zip tying it to the side of the motor box. I would love to see or hear about how you guys have mounted larger ESCs. I thought I might put a...

    3DHS 58" Edge 540

I'm getting ready to build a 58" 3DHS Edge 540 and have a question on how I should connect everything. I'm going to run an ICE 75 with a Castle BEC Pro and would still like to use the Hitec SPC voltage indicator. I don't think it would be wise to crimp all these wires into a 45amp PP connectors...
