    3DHS and Extreme Flight Merger?

Ive never had an aeroworks overweight. 59cc extra with no carbon fiber upgrades that came in at 16lbs 13oz. 100cc edge and extra that weighed 27lbs 4oz. 50cc edge with a da60 that weighed under 17lbs. Ive never called aeroworks and had them say they dont have a part i needed.

    3DHS and Extreme Flight Merger?

Stringers on the fuse sides were too long and it looks like instead of cutting them to length they were crooked. All of the hinges were supposed to be sealed and some werent.... I hope since they forgot to seal thise they disnt forget any glue joints. And on the bottom cowl screws they wanted to...

    3DHS and Extreme Flight Merger?

I cant get into arf warbirds. The guy that runs our club knows warbirds well and builds with coverite and paints them. I want a corsair sooo bad and he says a ultracote covered one is not scale with shiny covering. After seeing his 1/3 scale pup I cant make myself buy a warbird with covering. I...

    3DHS and Extreme Flight Merger?

Looking at the big picture, whats it really matter. I always look at the positive in anything. Lets say it the support gets worse or something else. Theres always other manufacterers out there willing to get your business. I have been stuck on aeroworks since i have been flying but i recently...

    3DHS and Extreme Flight Merger?

I believe the hobby is in a major slow time right now. Maybe they had to merge to stay open??? Im seeing other companies run sales more often and offer free shipping. Like everyone else seys this could be really good or really bad. Ive never had either of the two companys planes but i do hope...

Im going to be honest here.... It starts as easy as the 2 da60's i had. Idles lower but i think it may have just a slight less power. If it has less power its not much. I ran a 24x8 on my 60 and thats what i have on the 61. With that said i only have 2 flights so it will obvisouly gain more...

I think smoke looks good. However I got out of glow for the slime on the side and bottom of a plane so I never installed a smoke system. I have a friend with a 150" decathlon and its awesome with smoke. He has a full scale so needless to say he can put on a show with the rc decathlon

I got to fly the edge today. This is my 3rd edge, second 50cc one. Flies better than i expected. This is the first edge that knife edges without coupling, with that said i had the others just a little tail heavy and this one is right on recommended cg. So, in conclusion here are the pros and...

That was one selling point. I knew it would not need graphics and i figure that saved me $100. It should show up well in the air. I also like the bigger canopy than the single seat version. I cant speak for how it flies but so far i have no regrets about buying this plane and would buy another.

Got it on a scale last night and came in at 17lbs 1 oz without a spinner. Power to fly 3d should not be an issue.

Well i didnt get to fly today. It was cool and windy. I did start the engine and this being my first dle I am very impressed. It idled at 1450 consistently not that im going to fly it that low at idle but that is impressive and i didnt touch the settings. Transitions are smooth too. Maybe next...

7954's everywhere. I installed the cowl tonight. Was much more of a job than i expected. First i had to cut about 3/8" off the stingers. Ive never had to do that before and i hate cutting on a $90 muffler but it had to be done. Then cutting the cowl took awhile to get a good clean cut.

Progresss is slow due to work. When i git home at 11:30 last night i found a box in the mail with my pitts muffler from jtec. Thts the only muffler i found that fit the dle 61. Fits like it was made for this plane.
