Question? iCharger 306b vs. 3010b question

yeah, i mean it would take $$$$ hyperion lipos (the highest C rating version) to even come close on 5000mah packs. dont see the need to max it out, just like that i would basically have 2x 1000 watt chargers in one housing. uber convenient

Question? iCharger 306b vs. 3010b question

the worst part is you have to feed it 50V input to get the max specs hahahahaha. i am probably going to get one down the road, but im not feeding it 50v. i like the specs plenty and the dual port capability for field charging on 24v :D

Question? iCharger 306b vs. 3010b question

i just bit the bullet and got a small generator, and am having a guy at my LHS who is an electrical genius make me up a portable suitcase charging setup. One time investment (hopefully) and i will be good for the forseable future

Question? iCharger 306b vs. 3010b question

you are exactly right, the 3010 can do 10s, while the 306 can only do up to 6s. The 3010 came out first, so you will see a lot of people have it (like me) who bought it before the 306b came out. Right now, with parallel charging, the only reason to get the 3010b is if you have 10s packs (most...

3DHS New Products and General Plane Info/Help for Fanatics

i agree. it has a lot to do with the 70 slick being the first ever plane for me to really 3D and tail touch with (yes, the 70 not the 71) and no other plane really compares to it. That being said, you cant go wrong with any 3dhs plane. they are all a bit different, but that first plane you...

Subtrim vs. Programmer for Centering Servos

moose, thats a great point. I think it is also worth mentioning that if you are using double ball links or adjustable turnbuckles, you can get the surface just about perfectly centered without using any subtrim, but the horn may not be parallel to the hinge line. I think it is good enough, and...

Subtrim vs. Programmer for Centering Servos

i think to a certain point a setup is "perfect enough". Is it better to do the hitec programmer centering? sure. is it gonna work just fine without doing so? of course. i dont think it is a big enough advantage to be worth going through the hassle. i really dont think it will effect flight...
