That's pretty typical, I bought a 4x8 sheet from Eplastics and had them cut it into 6 24" x 32" pieces. They shipped it rolled so shipping wasn't too bad. What size are looking for? I can get is and mail to you if you like.- TonyHallo

The ribs are 1/4" x 1/8" Sitka spruce. I think you will be fine once covered. The tips are basswood, it is almost finished, had to quit for a while, sanding was boring me to tears. I used Titebond III to laminate the bows, that adds to making the sanding more difficult. Might be ready for...- TonyHallo

I don't see the fuss over Hysol, maybe someone that has used it can shine some light on the subject. Seemed like the guys that built Cardens were high on it? Your firewall still looks thick. Is that carbon tape on the side?- TonyHallo

David, You mentioned Hysol, what is the cure time for Hysol? I'm too cheap to use it! I really could never see the benefit verses the cost, if I need a nice fillet, mix up some epoxy and filler , dispense with a monoeject tube.- TonyHallo

No problem Snoop. Pulled the nosewheel pant out of the mold. 1 layer of 2 ounce cloth and 1 layer of four ounce cloth, these were laid up and trimmer while green flush to the mold. I use .040 for vacuum forming because it thins out as it is stretched over the plug, actually ordered a couple of sheets of .060" the make canopies for my One Designs because .040 thins out too much. .020" is just too thin for a large flat windshield so .030 or .040 is what I would use.
