The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Couple things completed. First I reversed the pins on my receiver as it just didn’t quite fit in the pod of my dlg with the servos plugged up. Was kind of a pain but worth it. Then while making up linkages I noticed my elevator servo would only just barely move. Checked all my radio settings...

    What Cam software you using?

All I know is AutoCAD and in 2D. Would love to learn the 3D side of it and most likely will as I'm starting to work my way into the engineering department at work.

    An Oldie But A Goodie

That's awesome dude. What a great friend. Seems as though he is short an airplane now. Tell him about my Sukhoi and will make him a hell of a deal on it. LOL Now go fly the snot out of that plane and enjoy every minute of it.

Pretty much. I will have a pic of it tomorrow but the kit includes a G10 plate to mount everything to and glue it in. I choose to make that plate removable with a single servo screw screwing in from the bottom of the fuse just in case I have to work on a servo. The servos are epoxied to the G10...

    Yippee! What the postman brought

Yeah those are the plugs that where in my 40cc twin. Wish I knew you needed some as I have a pair of new ones you could have had for the cost of shipping.

It’s a tight fit but everything fits in there perfectly. That’s four servos a four channel full range receiver and a lipo all crammed in there.

Nope on the top. My plan is to steam it to remove any bit of dent in the foam and then inject foam safe ca under the hood. As long as I do it right it won’t be noticeable.

First off errrrrr. Went to grab the fuse this morning to sand and prepare the back to glue the fin on. Already had the stab on and hit the fuse and to the floor it went bending the stab in the process. It’s still solid but still caused a little of the skin to delaminate. After that...

    Yippee! What the postman brought

Yeah my bigger 1.5m Flitz you should see how slow it will fly. In no lift with full camber in it I believe you can walk faster than it’s flying.

    Yippee! What the postman brought

Been waiting for my chance to post in this thread and the time finally came. New DLG showed up today. I am super impressed with this thing and took right at two weeks for it to get here from the Ukraine. Boxed up in a wooden crate so no damage at all.

Lol. It was always my dads moto that if the car was fast you don’t show the letters but if it’s just for show the have the white letters exposed. It looks good either way really I just prefer all black.

Awesome choice. Radial TA’s are great tires. Please ask him to face the white letters in and have the black letters showing. Don’t need those distracting from the nice wheels and paint job.
