    Parts ordered to repair the extra so I got it prepped to see what needs attention. Until the parts show up I went back to my little profile. Added the bracing to the wing and then broke out the covering. First time using ultracote parklite. Deffinate learning curve but it will be worth it I think.

    It's a 3DHS airframe. The motor box doesn't include everything I need but includes the major stuff. Best part is the motor box kit is only $25

    Yeah mine is in rough shape but for the most part all the major damage is from the wing tube forward so a motor box kit that they sell should fix it.

    To build it light in my opinion just build it like any other profile out there. Get rid of all the ply, that wonky wing tube mount in the fuse, drop from two 3/8 tubes to one 1/2 tube mounted just below where the wing tube goes through the fuse, and stick build the rest of it like a normal...

    Depends on everyones version of quality wood. I personally try to build light so I look for the balsa that is closer to contest grade.

    I need to do this to my sukhoi. Down thrust is fine but it as well has a strong pull to the left in an upline. I did a rudder to throttle mix but to get it to go away I have I think almost 15% rudder input at full throttle which I feel is a bit excessive.
