    Lots of flying planned tomorrow, found a predrilled prop already (club member) so I'm good now. Ordered another from northwest rc but that's a few days away.

    Apparently my 3W/DA prop drilling guide is NOT for larger engines (DA). Drilled my 31x13 prop for a DA but found out the hard way. Can I do this and redrill? Pumped full of Hysol.

    Yes on aluminum, had the stringers only originally but plans were calling for 1/4" across.

    More rough strip planking. I got to get better at this. Using a taper jig on my Byrnes table saw to get caught up on the longer side of my strip planking project.

    This looks good. The M1 screw was too small, M1.4 looks allot better. M2 is too big.

    Screws, lots of little (LITTLE) screws. Randomly ordering little screws until I find what sizes I need.

    Tony, correct on the methanol. Just a brain slip. Maybe it's the research I'm putting into my next 4 stroke (Valach, Roto, etc). Yes, time to order fabric.............

    Actually I think all this area is 1/4" so strip planking it is. Doesn't need to be perfect so low efforts will be invested in tight joints.

    Getting close to fuel tank decision time. My choices are the glow OS 320 4 cylinder or the methanol Kavan 50 4 stroke. I'll make this as a component and glue it after the tank install.

    Some progress on the tank end piece. Sealed the wood with old gummy sanding sealer. Was hoping for more of a metal finish because of that but not really.
