Group Build, 20cc Profile ARF, Who's In?

terry, i was planning to just use the aluminum tailwheel bracket without the rest of the tailwheel hardware. the bracket itself is heavy but the whole tailwheel assembly isn't really necessary, IMHO :)

i might be a little light on power, won't know until it flies. could def use some more weight in the nose, the battery is way forward of where I thought it would end up

Group Build, 20cc Profile ARF, Who's In?

I just updated it to show the ESC I ended up using. By mistake I ordered an opto ESC (no BEC) so I had to grab another with the BEC so I wouldn't need a separate flight pack for the servos. With the Hitec Optima 9 receiver I'll have the one big pack for the motor also going to the SPC port to...

IMPORTANT!!! Let the AMA know what you think!!!!!

you'd be a trendsetter in giant scale if you made a removable GoPro mount for your big designs to go up behind the canopy where it can look out over the prop.....just sayin'

Group Build, 20cc Profile ARF, Who's In?

just about ready to fly, had a few hiccups all caused by me. final weight is about nine pounds even with the 6000mah 6S pack strapped to it. going to get the balance just right, final mount the battery straps and then take it out flying, motor might be a little light for the airplane but...

    Sport Beautifying the Beast

by moving that large mass closer to the CG you've also removed a lot of momentum from the tail making it easier/faster to start and stop maneuvers

    Sport Little something different.....

back in the day Great Planes made their Trainer .40 and .60 (.25 too I think) with the semi symmetrical airfoil and guys would hot rod them with no dihedral and bigger engines. nice to see new designs that bring back that same type of fun, pass the box around, type of flying.
