very nice, very nice. what is 1000WHP though? edit....1000WHP isn't related to the plane, you're a car guy, no? 1000 horsepower at the wheels? in which car?

HI guys, I'm going to go ahead and order one of these airframes today in order to have a look at it and plan my build. I may go electric but I'm not sure if I'll try the package that RedwingRC is selling or if I'll go the budget route and pick my own components. I'll post everything as I go...

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

my personal favorite is the Hoverfly PRO for a fun flyer but for racing the NAZE 32 seems to be preferred over the CC3D. I just sold my 250 with CC3D to a friend of mine and I'll be starting a few custom 250 racers for myself later this week. I"m using Hoverfly as a goof I guess but will go to...

i was going to mention that also, that the voltage regulator in there is also a limiting factor on what can be applied by the battery as too much voltage will cook the regulator. we see this with flight control systems for multi-rotor helicopters, voltage limits based on componentry and regulators.

Radio brownout - Lost another pair of underwear (and confidence in the plane)

that makes a lot of sense Judge. the servos are getting power directly from the bus bars where the servos and batteries are connected. it's the other components in the receiver that have might have limitations. the cross section of those bus bars will determine the current carrying capacity...
