    Rough rough draft on elevator/ aileron stick boot (?). Might be getting too deep into cabin detail, could be a deep rabbit hole I think. At some point this thing needs to fly.

    Other side of firewall work. Copied the Kavan engine mount form and drilled out the bolt locations.

    Painted the cabin side of the firewall gray. I may cover that with aluminum or something but need to get going on this project. Flying season approaches,.

    Black faced gauges on a black dashboard will not work. Can I leave this aluminum?

    Working on rolling the top back per plans. Taped the dash to a piece of aluminum pipe (and protected the face of the dash) and rolled the top back a bit. It took some adjustment but it looks close to the plans.

    I've never used a dressing stick before, these things work pretty good on cleaning up a grinding stone/ wheel.

    Playing around with an aluminum dashboard today. Lots of drilling, sanding and grinding. Even used my mini mill to hog out some metal.
