Kinda bittersweet but I had to let it go. Ultimate hangar queen. Carl Goldberg .60-90 size 64” span kit Super Chipmunk. I covered it in the joe “fang” maroney color scheme. It’s been sitting in my shop for maybe 9 years. The sad thing is that it’s on its third engine and never flown. Taken it to...

Maybe I need to start a 3D printing thread... Seems like there is a lot of interest and a few folks doing it here as well. It'll be nice once I get things dialed in. The amount of things (useless and useful) are endless. My mind has tons of ideas!

Under $500 with extra filament, There are a lot of promo codes out there for this printer on youtube, just got to wait... then wait a little over a month to get it from china. I decided on the CR-10S because its the most bang for the buck for a noob I thought. There is a large following which is...

Thanks.... Well I do cheat. Thingiverse.com has a bunch of stuff I can download and print. I’m really just learning how to set the parameters and coding. I have printed one thing that was similar to what I was trying to recreate Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Been learning this 3D printer stuff. Pretty large learning curve for me. Teaching myself 3D CAD, and the 3D printer... speeds, flow rates, temps, bed leveling, bed temp, calibration... not to mention getting parts to stick and replacing an underrated capacitor!! Wow Slowing getting this thing...

My LHS buddy has a H9 P51 60cc in the box, wants me to put it together to hang in the shop. Sounds like a good idea considering the level of quality for a non-airworthy machine.

Sounds like Hitec put their 16 channel on the back burner and channeling their focus back to servos due to a flooded Tx market. So I wouldn't get your hopes up too high for a new Hitec radio anytime soon unfortunately. I guess they even had a prototype made though.

Teaching a friend to fly, not sure what really happened. This plane has a few features like hold mode and auto land. It was foggy with an ice covered runway surrounded by trees. Holding pattern worked, auto land not so much with trees all around, it wanted to circle wide and decent which with...

Good work Travis, I’ve never seen that CG machine before... pretty unique. Just shoot for the center of lift and critique after you maiden it. Good looking plane! That VVRC 20cc is a good running engine for its size class. Looking forward to you maiden report! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

We actually had a tropical storm push a bunch of warm air up north. Broke temp records! I saw 58 F ! Melted the snow especially with all the rain that came with it. But don’t worry it’s 28 now Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Finally got to fly a couple tanks of fuel before my night shift. First flight was great, took a bit to get some fuel in the carb.... been a while I guess. Second flight ended with a dead stick. Did a high g slow maneuver that I’m guessing killed the engine. Did not blip the throttle prior and...

Hagar 9 PA-18 super cub assembled for my buddies hobby shop ceiling art. Hoping one day to fly this one, kinda sad to see a beauty just hang. Balancing out the 74” edge, couple A123’s in the box will make it balance the back side of the wing tube empty. Manual calls for just in front of the...
