AJ Laser 230z 73" Build Thread
I've been scared :frown: to fly my 73" AJ Laser ever since my two or three 2-3 sec "brown outs"... even though the engine kept running smoothly with no response (kind of nightmare really) - I put that receiver in a cub and it worked fine for multiple flights - so I have a new Rx in the bird but...- AKNick

Post your servo, receiver, and battery setups
SO I'm curious what people are using for power on a single or dual A123 with one Rx and a TechAero IBEC for a 35cc 3D plane. I've done a single 2500 A123 to a modified Miracle switch (for the 3 wire version batteries for the balance tap/pwr feed) on a Cub. My concern is will that be enough wire...- AKNick

Cool The I'm going out flying thread 2017
Picked up a club member and took his 60e Beast out. He flew it for about 4min and had to sit down so I flew it for a couple more minutes and landed it for him. That plane tracks great! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk- AKNick

I had a similar incident with a friend who gave me a seized up H9 Cub he got from a friend. I reconditioned the engine (OS70FS?), but realized the tail seemed a bit weak. so I took a flashlight and looked into the empennage and found a mouse nest! Little intruder ate the tail structure to make...- AKNick

Pure genius. I've been using the ol Chinese version, love the concept. hated the self adhesive on wood, you need the surface very clean prior. Way to go using CA. I think you need to make some for ignition leads so you can stick them in cowls as a stand off. I've been gluing foam sheet as a rub...- AKNick

I've only used blue on my trucks diff plate lol. I'd imagine RTV is RTV, but I've been using the Ultra Copper on my muffs lately because they say it's for higher temps.- AKNick

H9 15cc Carbon Cub
Just need to touch up some ultracote, get some more fuel, double check the CG, and take her up!! Much more impressed with how this engine runs. Took some needle tweaking. Was about a 1/4 turn rich on the Low and high. They were both set around 1-5/8 out of the box now they are about 1-3/8...- AKNick
