there was enough 1" cove moulding in there to trim out a small house! but the guy overlooked replacing the plywood where it was damaged. there's a saying from the British car community, "above all he cursed.......previous owner!"

i gave my shop fridge to my buddy Mark when it looked like we wouldn't have room in the house we were moving into.....but then that house deal fell through and my fridge was already gone! :cryin::cryin::cryin:

Removed all of the old firewall and landing gear repairs and reinforcements. Have to re-do some of the inner plywood doublers that got torn up when the front end was wrecked. Stuff is missing that needs to be in there!

@Gene Cope needs to read this, he sent me a message about the 15cc title. i'm not sure but i think we changed the setting so that you guys could put your own titles there. or maybe that was part of the site sponsor upgrade package? for those that don't know, that's the "GSN Sponsor Tier 1"...

i'm thinking something simple but classy looking since Matt Chapman is kinda-sorta a friend of the site I'm thinking we'll replace the Embry Riddle text with GIANT SCALE News .Com in the same layout so from a distance it'll look like Matt's scheme but up close you'll be fooled into reading...

Just got done stripping the second wing and fuselage. The firewall looks a little funky and the fuselage was cracked open at some point but other than that it's a good rebuilder project. The monokote was coming off in big sheets. You guys are doing some nice work so I'm going to have to up...

started stripping the covering off of the Carden 35% Cap 232 that I bought earlier this year. one wing is done, next one is going on the bench tomorrow evening, then the fuselage. covering is brittle and coming off very easily, the wood underneath is in pretty good condition except for a few...

so Earle, you have the sequence memorized or you tell them keeping you safe is more important than worrying about the sequence? i guess you couldn't memorize the unknowns in the time you'd have so maybe it's my second guess
