    Iron-on coverings? Opinions?

i can't remember what I covered with Ultracoat a while back but I know I've used it. I just seem to remember that the edges don't lay down and stick like Monokote but Monokote isn't what it once was so it's hard to decide. I'll probably try Ultracoat again and see how it turns out. Nobody...

    Iron-on coverings? Opinions?

Hi guys and gals, just wondering what is the bees' knees these days as far as coverings go. Monokote? Ultrakote? Chinakote? I've used just about all of it at some point or another but things change so figured I'd ask. Am thinking about redoing a 35% Cap 232 so I need a lot of Cub Yellow and...

What are you going to build in 2015?

Have been kicking this around but I think I'm going to strip the covering off of the 35% Carden Cap that I bought about a month ago. The covering is really loose just about everywhere, the control horns are all jacked, and the engine needs to be sent out for service anyway. I was not up for...

REDUCED! BME102, freshly rebuilt by Tom at BME $445

I heard from Tom and he seemed to think if the wires weren't there then they weren't necessary but then I also spoke to a gentleman at C&H and he said that, based on the total wires coming from the modules, the grounding wires were necessary. So the plan now is to send the ignition module to...

REDUCED! BME102, freshly rebuilt by Tom at BME $445

the pipe was probably bent and then cracked as it was being bent back but it's solid even though the weld isn't the prettiest. i'm really surprised that Tom would have missed the plug grounding wires.

REDUCED! BME102, freshly rebuilt by Tom at BME $445

Intersting that you point that out, I was wondering as well why the caps seemed unusual but since the engine went to BME for a rebuild and once over by Tom I assumed they'd be fine that way. I'll email Tom to ask him about it and will post here whatever I find out from him. I could also just...
