    Hitec's all new FunCub XL!!!

So on my original fun cub I made my own circuit board with LEDs, alternating landing lights, nav, flashing strobes, fading beacon... It's almost identical to what this one has other than the beacon is on the belly rather than the tail. I almost feel cheated, because I made a custom design that...

    Something New Is Coming.

ARS-300 = blend of a slick and a laser!?!? :bouncy: OOOOoooo I think this would be an excellent airframe. I wish AJ had a 60" version, but looking at the past, I'm sure they will!

AJ Laser 230z 73" Build Thread

Thanks! The DLE35 has been reliable and has plenty of power in my 71" Slick, but I keep wondering if I have a lemon. Either way it pulls that plane around just fine, just doesn't have a consistently crisp exhaust note as I would like, cannot seem to tune it out without sacrificing performance...

Well let's just say you put on 4 jetcats at P200's with 50lb thrust each = 200lbs of thrust (lift a smaller person), with one gallon of fuel it would last 5min. So thier specs are right at least. If a guy can do it with an oversized quad... Who's not to say a quad jetcat. Just my 2cents... But...

AJ Laser 230z 73" Build Thread

Well it's almost been 1 year..... I finally maidened the Laser this Saturday!!! It really does fly on rails folks. Mine came out a little nose heavy turns out, but nothing a few clicks of trim and burning through some fuel couldn't fix! Just a few clicks of aileron as well, I did not laterally...

Scale Top Flite P-40 Build Thread

add or 470 AD Rivets?? 470 AD rivets are used on full scale aircraft. They are identified with a recessed dimple on the top on the raised rivet head. ha ha ha, I doubt you'll go that far!! Looking good though man!!

    Something New Is Coming.

It already has a name! It's called a "stabilator" I think the issue is that it wouldn't be strong enough under the loads a 3D bird goes through at where the hinge point would be.

    Something New Is Coming.

I like the ARS-300 design. The vertical is a little forward than most aircraft designs, I can tell that AJ did quite a few mods from the original airframe. The Horizontal is tiny, but the elevator is ginormous. He also made a larger rudder. I wonder if he'll make some smaller versions??? I'm...

Here's my next project. H9 Carbon cub 15cc. Putting Savox 0254mg digital servos in, RCGF 21cc twin, redwing 16x8 wood/white prop, Kavan 5" balloon wheels, 7ch futaba receiver, tech aero IBEC, and that's all I have for now. Man the struts, wing tube, and landing gear are metal... A lot of...

That makes sense, I'm figuring the 35-55cc are roughly burning 1oz/min. So with a 16oz tank you'll run dry in about 15min, with a 12min timer you'll have 3oz of reserve. That my educated guesstimate. Ha

So redwing wheels off gravel runways look like this after a couple gallons. This is my third set. Why I keep buying them one might ask? I still like how light they are and how they perform... And they cost $6 for a pair. But ya the hard outer crust gets eaten away pretty quick on gravel...

Wow man. I'll admit I bought one foamy plane from them... It looked fun... But it flew like a wounded duck without feathers. I'll never buy planes, engines, servos, ect from them. With that said... They have cheap LiPo's which is nice.
