Please don't kill me. After the long and time consuming process of melting out all the pin hinges last night I decided to reward myself with homemade garlic rolls a glass of sweet tea and some TV time. That also resulted in an unplanned 5 hour nap on the couch. Upon waking up it was light out...

    Sport Restoring The Laser

NO NO NO that's refer to as running pipe. :-) At work the other night I ran prolly 100' of 3/4" rigid conduit for a new automatic oiler on one of our conveyors. Had to pull cable and get it running as well. Fun stuff indeed.

Will get to see it one piece at a time. Might even do close up shots of each piece to hide the scheme until its all done and then WHAM there it is.

I so sorry. My hope for myself is to get down inverted harriers this year. I will be giggling like crazy the first time I drag the rudder inverted.

You would think that but this guy doesn't 3D. Most he does is the occasional hover and he cant harrier.

So what is everyones perfered way to remove old pinned hinges. I did one elevator using my soldering iron. Once I got most cleaned out I went back with a 3/16" drill bit to clean it back out. didn't really care for the burning plastic smell going through my house though. Open to other ideas.

Might do that. The guy I'm doing it for doesn't do any 3D though just likes to fly it around.

Well I got it all stripped down. Stabs and elevators are in great shape, wings and rons are as well other than a cracked piece of sheeting in one wing, fuse can stand some glue to be wicked in in some areas, but the rudder OMG. Can't believe the counterbalance hadn't fallen off in flight...
