The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Was pulling the table off my bandsaw so I can add the rails I made for it to add a fence system to it. It's been making a little noise recently so I decided to pull the cover off and find where it was coming from. Found it had thrown the rubber tire off the bottom right wheel. Also figured it...

The I'm going out flying thread 2016

    Rumors @ GiantScaleNews.com

Sucks to hear that someone would start a rumor like that. Best thing though is that it isn't true. As said above bigger isn't always better and I think we have a really good group of members on this site. No bitching and bickering going around just some nice build threads and other great content...

So I decided to try out the little edge profile I built on 4S power over the 3S I normally fly it on. It had way more power than it needed so on 4S it's absolutely nuts. It become one very responsive and loose bird and I liked it. Snaps are very violent now.

Hehe I have been busy. Bed time now but first thing tomorrow morning I will flip the wing and sheet the other side of it and start framing the wing for the second plane. All the floppy bits are final sanded and the fuse needs just a little more sanding and it's ready to go.

    Viton tubing

Yup what Kenny said. Also the viton is considerably more expensive than the tygon.

There's nothing like the smile I get when I stab the throttle on a piped 55ax on a 4lb plane.
