Wow spending some money on glow there. I have only used about 3/4 of a gallon all year this year. I need to get out and fly more. Found I can fly my 40 size profiles in my front yard but I don't think the neighbor appreciates a piped 46 or 55 two stroke nitro engine at 7:30AM.

Wow proof that terry once flew a slimer. Though I love the sound of my piped OS55ax nothing beats the sound of a 4 stroke.

Give me all the hard times you want I can take it. What I think is really cool is the little edge I built. There are quite a few bro's saying it and the bigger 56" span version should be kitted by one of the kit cutters on the bro site. Just the thought that something I worked on might become a...

Oh but Terry don't get me wrong I still like the probro airfoils as well. I actually really dig how floaty my Sbach45 is.

Yeah I follow what your saying. The EE series of planes that wrong way carries has a more traditional airfoil. I have flown the EE50cc and it's fun but it's not super loose. That's why the one I'm gonna do is going with a lot less wing area to help get rid of some of the float it has. I learned...

I will build one of these for myself at some point with no dihedral and stuff a dle20 on the nose. The motor is just what was on it when it was brought to me to repair and recover. It's a thunder tiger 46 and yes it has a heli head. Not sure if it's just the head of the entire motor is off a heli.

It's using the same airfoil that's on the plane in my avatar except it will be quad taper not tritaper. NACA0015 at the root transitioning to a NACA0018 at the tip. Acts the same as what we call zippering the LE of making it sharp at the root and more blunt at the tip. Makes the root of the wing...

Just gotta peal a couple small straggler pieces of covering off around the vertical stab and it's ready to get recovered. Ended up replacing a lot of sheeting and re gluing half the joints in it but it's nice and tight again. Not bad for a 20 something year old airframe.

A probro buddy is actually helping me design a 50cc slab. Should fly a lot different from other 50cc slabs out there. Most in that size are around 2000sq in of wing area and this one will be around 1500-1600 I think and have foiled ailerons.

Oh also I have come up with a great scheme for the profile I'm building you. Hope you like Unicorns and Rainbows. ;)

I know but its next in line. Got it and one other profile to build then it will be full force building at least 4 if not 5 of the Edge profiles in avatar picture.

There are some 50cc profile kits out there. Maybe we could convince @Terryscustom to design us s slab around a 70cc gasser. Something that comes in around 17-18 lbs. oh yeah thst could be fun.
