    Here is F&M 3/4" pinking tape cut with the 3 mm pinking shears. Not exact but close enough and much better than a straight cut. Thanks for the tip.

    Oh, I know that I was simply testing, I had to change the tool that I ground after I noticed it was cutting more like a thread. At any rate PM me your address and I will mail it to you. I didn't make the reliefs as big on each end as shown on the drawing since there was no dimension provided...

    Steven, here is the test cut. I didn't put a center in the part so the final cut should have less chatter. I can drill and ream the 1/8" hole but have no way currently to put the key slot in. I may have a 1/32" cutoff blade that could be fashioned into a tool.

    Here's what I did on the Champ and it has worked well. I like the idea of ditching the aluminum servo tray and just using the tiller arm.

    So the collet holder is bolted to the backplate on your lathe? Did it come machined to fit your register (spigot fit for those who worked with Westinghouse power generation equipment) fit or did you finish it? I have ER32 collets and if I had a collet holder similar to yours I would leave it on...

    Not a bad idea. From the BUSA Super Cub. The tiller hardware was provided with the kit, it works very well.
