So to fill everyone in I will be away from building for a while. My wife and I tried for many years to have kids on our own and after my wife has had to endure way to many injections for all the infertility meds she had to be on we gave up on that path and moved on the the prospect of adoption...

If you want to build a kit this one I got is great. Good price and the fit and finish is amazing. I got it with their recommended motor, folding prop, and servos. It has a crazy fast climb rate but will slow down to a crawl.

In doing that might I recommend this. Looking at the fuse all the vertical supports are CNC cut and it remains one piece. Instead make notches in the outer rails of the fuse and lay the vertical supports down in the cut files. It will be a little more work to build but will be well worth it in...

I just looked at a couple of youtube videos and really just started playing around with it. I think I'm gonna download the student version of Inventor as I here its easier. I wont have any special machinery in my shop. Most I may have one day is a manual mill and lathe and hopefully at some...

Yeah proper insulation under it and when I do it I will be running all the water lines in it to make it a heated floor. My old boss had the electric radiant floor heat in a few rooms of his house. Kept his house warmer and used less electricity to run it. Being radiant heat it actually heats up...

Yup. Getting ready to relocate my shop to the other side of my basement so I wanted to get a few other things done for that move. I have also drawn up a nice storage unit in CAD that I will be building. It will hang on the wall and hold those metal drawer units I posted a week or so ago, all my...

This one right here would work but you would have to run an 11x6 prop. its not going to slow down as well though but will help it wad up tighter in high energy stuff. http://www.valuehobby.com/power-systems/brushless-motors/outrunner-airplane/3542-1200kv-outrunner-motor.html These two will...

Guy got fired from where I work for doing that many years ago. Sounds hilarious though. Oh might I mention these bags that we have aren’t trash bags but bin liners and I would say if the bin was full of water it would hold around 350 gallons so it made a big boom.
