    Yippee! What the postman brought

I feel your pain brother. I'm making progress. After a full week of playing around with the Pocket, I finally have all for servos moving on the right channels. BUT, the right side aileron only moves in one direction.

    Yippee! What the postman brought

After starting over from scratch for the 3rd time I still only have 3 servos working. But at least they are on the correct channels. Now I just need to get the right side aileron working. Then I can finally center everything and make up my linkage.

I have that file except the 4 servo version but for some reason I can’t get it to work on my radio. I’m going to try and download a different version of the edge firmware and try again.

    Yippee! What the postman brought

You read my mind lol! I’d already decided yesterday that it’s coming your way if I get totally discussed with it. I can’t even get all four servos to move. Best I’ve managed so far is 3 out of 4. And now one of those is on the wrong channel. I can’t get the elevator servo to budge. I bound it to...

Thanks brother! I'll check them out. I'm about ready to smash this thing with a hammer. :lol2:

    Yippee! What the postman brought

Finally got my Radiomaster Pocket yesterday. I also ordered the 4 in 1 module so I can bind it with my Spektrum stuff. I’m really impressed with the build quality. Especially for the price. But I have a huge learning curve for sure. The Edge TX programming is tough for a non techie like myself...

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Looking good brother. Those hinges should work perfect.

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

I got all major construction done on my Mini Dart 2 DLG. Just need to install the linkage. Waiting on my Radiomaster Pocket to arrive first. I want to install the receiver and power up the servos before I make my linkage. USPS is painfully slow these days.

    What beer ya drinking tonight?

Steady diet of Snapper, Stag and Goose Island the past week or so.

That is a big reason I went with the Pocket instead on the Boxer. The Boxer only has a momentary switch on the right side. Some people have gone threw the trouble of moving the momentary switch to the opposite side on the Boxer but it looked like more headache to do than I wanted.

    Yippee! What the postman brought

That is pretty much why I bought it. I didn't want to try and program my Spektrum from scratch for a DLG. I couldn't find any ready made DLG templates for Spektrum. But I found this for Edge/Open TX https://rc-soar.com/edgetx/setups/dlg/index.php.

    Yippee! What the postman brought

Yes quite a learning curve on these things. I ordered a Radiomaster Pocket to pair up with it. Which is all you fault! :lol2: That will be another learning curve. Hopefully it will arrive by the end of this week.

    Yippee! What the postman brought

I’m on page 28 of 40 of the Mini Dart 2 thread on R C G lol. Been watching a ton of vids for sure. So far all I’ve done is modify my servos to fit. They were to tall mainly because the servo wire exited out the bottom of the case instead of the side. Also had to thin down the servo horns...

    Yippee! What the postman brought

Got this beauty in the mail yesterday. It’s the Mini Dart 2 DLG carbon version. It’s crazy light weight. Hopefully I can figure out how to assemble it without screwing it up. It’s really delicate compared to anything else I’ve ever built.

Discussion The I’m Going/Went Flying Thread

And beat the heat of summer. I also like being able to fly after work in the winter. It’s dark by the time I get home in the late fall through late winter.

    What beer ya drinking tonight?

I picked up a 12 pack of Snapper for the weekend. And a 15 pack of Goose Island IPA for backup

    What beer ya drinking tonight?

Two Hearted Ale and Laganitas are both classics and they are responsible for my IPA addiction for sure.
