    There is a flange that screws to the block that clamps the struts in position. You can zoom in and see them in the photo.

    Gluing in the windows today. My RC560 bottle went hard so I'm using Weldbond. Seems to work the same as RC560. Going shine the windows up with Magauire's PlastX after the glue dries.

    Working on details while waiting for higher temperatures. Added the red vinyl to the cockpit area and the chrome Cherokee 140 logos to the cowl. Hopefully tomorrow I can finish the white painting.

    Local autobody supply stores. The white is a PPG product and the red is a Nason product, both are acrylic enamel with hardener. I normally se PPG Omni line, their second tier and cheaper product. Of course this is all glass so auto paint works fine. Might try the paint on a fabric covering...

    I've had good luck with Falcon carbon spinners but nothing in the 5" range. I have few old carboin spinners made by Pete that worked well in 4 1/2" and 5" size.
