    I wonder what I’m getting into…. My son stopped in to look at my new project and asked how big. I pulled a tape measure out and showed him 117”. Then I told him it is a biplane. He stared for a few seconds at the tape measure and so I did i…….. This is a big kit.

    I ordered tempered glass. They put a chamfer around the edges and maybe a slight bevel. I will use the same company again. And I will pay for delivery.

    Cleared a work table today. I ordered table top glass a few years ago and the glass company strongly recommended a full table sized piece of glass. Unfortunately they were correct. This Tiger Moth fuse is 8+ feet long. I will eat my mistake and order a full table sized piece of glass.

    Partially to get the Cub compartmentalized and safer against hanger rash but also to clear work tables. I tried to make the rack big enough to allow continued work as well.

    No thank you. Not now, not ever. We will see some mid/high teens (Fahrenheit) starting Sunday night. Grocery and hardware stores are packed. I was 8 customers deep at the hardware store cashier line.

    The bleed though is Polybrush that soaked through the fabric. Getting rid of those spots would require diluting through the fabric I think you are saying. Nothing serious, I just need to watch my applications.

    Yes on purchased for the Tiger Moth. It is a 60cc engine, the US 1000 is a 15cc(?) size plane.

    Might be time..... Time to clear a work table. My 22yr old son had worked on this Kadet MKII since he was 8(?). He's graduating this spring, getting married this fall, getting his own place this summer/ fall. I could use the space...... He gets in the mood occasionally.
