    110" TIMBER Assembly Thread

Mine finally arrived after a week on a boat from Manila. In perfect shape, no wrinkles or sags in the covering, and so far no questionable glue joints. Typical Hangar 9 quality, the only think I was not impressed with were the aluminum gear and the wheels, but I think I'll use them anyway and...

Thanks WMcNabb, That plane (Hangar 9 Ultimate)was built 20 plus years ago, so ancient history, I used all JR equipment in it, as Horizon sponsored me with a team discount on parts. Three Matchboxes, one rx, no powerbox, just lots of redundancy on batteries. All titanium pushrods, and JR servos...

Perfect, Thanks for that. I was going to go the powerbox or smartfly route, but it seemed overkill for this plane.

    110" TIMBER Assembly Thread

I read the first two thirds of this thread @AKNick and am impressed with your simple but elegant radio install. I' new to the forum here and have had a lot of experience with 40% scale aerobatic planes but, that was 20 years ago and there were only a few 2.4 gig radios ... yes that long ago...
