    I’ve had this welder for 2-3 years. Decided to use it finally. Tips are wrong thread so I only got wire installed.

    I need to cut/assemble/weld a 4”x6” angle iron frame for a customer and realized that not using a cutting torch often for 25-35 years means I need to do a lot of grinding. Or I can gloriously waste a day trying to mill the cuts smooth. I played around with setup for a couple of hours before...

    Picked up a 10’ piece of 6x4 angle iron for a job at a metal supplier and started looking at their drops and cutoff section. I threw a decent size (33 lbs) piece of steel on the scales and did the math. At $3.50 a lb I decided to put the metal back in the bin.
