I thinks it's almost impossible to build a Steven's Aero kit without it coming out perfectly straight. The parts interlock and are designed so well that you can literally build them without glue, then just got back and hit everything with thin CA once you are sure that everything is perfect...

Building kits is not practical financially. You might be surprised and find it enjoyable though. I find it relaxing and something to pass the time during our long winters when it's not fun to fly. The down side is that once you've put that much time into an airframe, it's hard to huck it...

I love my 51" and 70" Slicks for low and slow 3D, but I usually bring my Osiris to the field with them for drawing straight lines/snaps or for when it gets windy. If I'm bringing the 59" it's the only plane that I need to bring. It's like the other Slicks and an Osiris put together. It does...

    74" Edge 540

Maybe I should try taking them off then. It would fly hands off harrier if it was any more stable. I could use my rudder hand for more important things...like holding my "soda pop"! ;)

Have to get a few pics of my newer 3DHS planes one day.

    74" Edge 540

I've actually never flown without them! I don't notice any wing rock, and it's just as stable, or even more stable than my 72" Extra and my 70" Slick post stall. I was planning on taking them off and trying the SFG's one day, but it already has great rudder authority. 3DHS (Scott?) tested...

    74" Edge 540

Loving my Edge. Super floaty, stable, little to no coupling, lots of knife edge authority, and looks good doing it!

Pretty bad that we have to hear about an RCG password issue from 3DRCForums! I'm glad that we have choices now! Hopefully 3DHS will start putting 3DRCF in their build manuals as the place to go for help. It would help attract the newcomers in the hobby and make this the 3D place to be. :)
