    Extreme Flight Extra 300 91"

Finally, I worked on the build today. I installed the Savox 1270 servos, SWB arms, tapped them to 3 mm, wrapped the servo wire, used shrink tube and installed the control horns, and installed the linkage. I used a mic to measure the lenght of the linkage to ensure the length is spot on. Also...

I've been flying the wings off of mine. California is having some unreal weather. Sunny, 65 degrees....perfect for flying. I think I have about 3 gallons thru my VVRC 40cc. Today I didn't fly with the SFG.....the plane flies well with or without them. Welp, I have to continue the build on my...

    Extreme Flight 70" extra

Now I have the plane and I'm going to use a DLE 30cc up front. I hear this combo make just insane power. I don't have a clue what size fuel tank I should use. I'm thinking of a Fortitude 8 oz tank? Would that be too small for the 30cc? Thoughts please? THanks Chuck

With the 18X5.5 I get 8150 RPM. This is an amazing American motor. I was just thinking how fast can I make this plane go? I'm going to talk to Sysaa this week and see what he recommends.

The 20X8 brought the motor to life. WOW, it now has great veritcle climb and I'm 4K ASL. I can't imagine what it would be like at sea level.

    Redwing RC 76" MXS-R

I flew this today. It has a Syassa 30cc and 18X5.5 prop. After flying it, I'm thinking a 16X10 prop will really speed things up a bit.

I put two more flights on my EF with the VVRC 40cc. The motor's idle is spot on now and it's pulling better. I just ordered a 20X8 carbon prop for it. See how that will work next week.

I'm realy curious to see if you have to add weight to get the model to CG. Would like to hear how that works out.

Grapple12 I think that's the way the cowl should be made. Here's some pic's of my cowl and the center ring is like yours. Enlarge the pic and you can see it.

    Redwing RC 76" MXS-R

I had my Syssa 30cc updated to a V2. Aluminum exhaust is now stainless steel and updated carb. Yesterday I ran it up with a vess 18X5 and the tac showed 8100 RPM.....whoooooa. I lost my soft copy of the manual and I want to double check the CG. What does the manual call out for a starting...
