    GSN GIVE-A-WAY Hangar 9 35% Extra 300X Assembly

Yeah I'm getting ready to pick up a 3DHS 75" extra to put my VVRC 40cc twin on and wondering if it would be worth it even on that small cowl to split it so I can easily baffle it.

Sport The Behemoth Yak gets a Behemoth Brother/129" Pilot Yak (2)

I will say one thing I have found with my pau Sukhoi and I have been told it's a round fuse thing is it KE is left stick only. no other plane other than one particular slab I have will KE without at least a little bit of coupling.

    GSN GIVE-A-WAY Hangar 9 35% Extra 300X Assembly

Yup I split the cowl on a buddys Hangar 9 33% edge using Terry's method. I was nervous but it worked great. I think I just used one layer of the cloth you get at lowes and it has held up good. Laid it in there and I didn't have any finishing resin to use so I just took some 30 minute epoxy and...

Sport The Behemoth Yak gets a Behemoth Brother/129" Pilot Yak (2)

I think in the beginning it was a round cowl thing that I just didn't care for that much but this PAU sukhoi that I won has changed my mind there. The round cowl has really grown on me. Its still not the same a the cowl on a CAP that I just love but I have found a love for all of them now.

That's a great looking scheme there stang. Never been a fan of the yaks especially the bubble canopy ones but seeing schemes like what you have there are starting to make me like them a little more.

Sport JTEC RADIOWAVE 26% Pitts Model 12

lol. I have considered picking up either an eme or the pte twins for the suk. To be honest though the dle55 doesn't have the pull out of a hover like I would like but I can't complain with how it yanks the plane around otherwise or how well the plane flys.

    Anyone going to FliteFest?

I would love to go but its a little bit of a hike and work kinda conflicts with it.

Well you see that Purdy little sukhoi in my profile picture. Well it flies great with the DLE55 on the nose but to get it to balance I had to make steel standoff and the batteries are as far forward as they can go and its still a touch tail heavy. So you see the point I'm getting at here is I...

Damn that Sucks for both of you. Stang it looks like the wings on yours are still in one piece so they could always be held on to as somewhere down the line someone will need a set.

    GSN GIVE-A-WAY Hangar 9 35% Extra 300X Assembly

That looks great. Yeah the spiral scroll saw blades are awesome. Gotta be careful with them though as they can get away from you quick if your not used to how they work.

Another one I have found recently is these little cheap snap blade razors from the dollar tree. Get three of them for a buck and I like them much better than a normal single edge blade for covering. They are very flexible and to me they seem to be holding the edge longer than a single edge or...

Scale 25% Krier Kraft build, a tribute to grampa.

Dude that is killer. I really hope the field you fly at isn't hard on wheel pants as it would be crying shame to hurt those beauty's.

I have never worked any in a situation where I have needed to stretch it at the seem but when it come to shrinking the covering I just keep the heat away from the seam. Normally I shrink the covering with the iron itself so I just make quick passes over it. If I do use the heat gun though I use...

First up from me is a video I did about using a piece of glass to put covering togheter. I do it this way as it avoids having to cover say an entire wing with one color then having to come back over it with a second color. It also allows you to get a nice tight bond between to pieces of...
