    Steady space dust, etc this week as I'm stuck at home. My vaccinated wife tested positive Sunday and i ain't feeling so good myself. Tested today and awaiting results. Thank goodness i have competent employees, I'm turning this into a stay cation........ They say your taste goes away...

    I have one of these. And his disc sander. Awesome tools. I can cut balsa so thin you can see through it.

    Yes on fuel proofing. Clear coating is a lot of work but a fun challenge. First coat finish under a microscope will look like a mountain range, wet sand the mountain tops off and second coat fills in the valleys. Repeat with wet sanding only mountain top peaks aren't so prominent the...

    I used Nelson latex paint on my MK Blue Angel. Negligible weight gain. Sealed it with automotive clear coat.

    Latex paint is super light. All the moisture evaporates.

    The backside of this canvas is a problem as I have another fail. The canvas peeled off like Peel ply or something. I might consider getting a different fabric.
