    I just got back from our little gravel strip with a weed wacker... got about 70% done when I ran out of wire :cautious:... but I'm getting ready to head out in a few hours and do some long awaited flying myself before it blows 50MPH tonight!!!!!

    New DA 60 not start

    I'm not sure how much experience you have with gas engines, I'm limited as well... but make sure the plug is fully seated in the plug cap - making contact with the spring and the cap. They are very hard to insert when new. You can buy a RCXL timing light that will let you know if the sensor chip...

    New servo installed, cowl back on, batttery topped off, looked outside... rain :frown: for the next two days in the forecast as well :thumbsdown: Looks like I'll have to wait until Thursday fingers crossed.

    I have done more engine tuning and have the engine running much better as previously mentioned. I actually don't have a flight report yet... I was disassembling the plane to take it to the field when my dog backed into the rudder and broke the servo case (internal stop). So waiting on that...

    I broke down and ordered the AcroCub foamy... it was like $90 with the 3S setup and shipping... cannot beat that for a little fun!

    I glued sets of three 2x4x8's, plained them, then used 8" timber locks to tie them together. They are then pocket holed from the lower support to the 2x4's then hand plained on the top... A lot of work

    My workshop project... Is... Well... My workshop bench! 2x4's glued together, plained, sanded, and finished with Danish oil. This bench is overkill but designed to a 50cc tail won't hang over the edge.

    Well finally took a knife to the horizontal. There is a lot of balsa pieces now! Thinking about making control horns out of phenolic board, seems to be stiff enough and a little thicker than the G10.
