Just screwed it in. Just a temporary fit and it was so tight it will suffice for a long time. YES on drums. I've been drawing up ideas for weeks and not happy yet. And the drums are why I bought the lathe. Although I might need a bigger lathe for 1/3 scale drums. This lathe is better...- dhal22

Looking at axle options. Tried a Dubro 3/16 axle. It threaded into my 3/8" tubing so tight I had to use a vise. I was worried it would split the tubing. Anyway, close enough for the moment.- dhal22

There were bad stories back when JR and Spektrum were connected. I fly Futaba but own a couple of planes that came with Spektrum transmitters. Never a problem with Spektrum.- dhal22
