    3D Cbarnes 3D Slab Thread

So I flew the edge yesterday afternoon. She is pretty squirrelly as she was pretty tail heavy. Still had fun with it though. No video as my camera malfunctioned. Will fly it again this morning and will add some weight to the nose. Once I get it where I like it I will move the tail servos forward...

LOL that would be funny. Its not gonna last long enough to deserve decals though. Will be building three more here soon. One for me and the others are going to other Bro's. This is after I do the recover of this hangar 9 edge 540. All the covering and hignes showed up for it today.

LMAO. that came from work actually I asked if I could cut up some square stock to use as weights for when I build. They handed me a piece and said have at. Was doing it in a hurry and didn't notice till I was about done that it was brass stock I was cutting.

    3D Cbarnes 3D Slab Thread

So I decided it was time to rebuild my edge profile. The wing and all the control surfaces where undamaged but the fuse was toast. In my quest to keep it light I built it 1/4" thick and used a 1/4" tube. Well the tube allowed way to much tail twist in rollers. This time around its all 3/8"...

Still guys at my field like that. Will only fly in one direction and can't take off or land if the wind is blowing the opposite direction down the runway.

    Sport Restoring The Laser

Let me catch up on the couple of projects I have for others and then we can talk. Got three small profiles to crank out really quick as well as a 33% hangar nine edge to recover and covering should be here this week.

Don't matter so long as they both get done. If the stick is in the ARF stage I would say do it first.

Saito 61cc Four Stroke Gas Engine, NEW!

That looks purdy. I could build my Midwest cap 232 kit around that. That's a lot of cash for that size engine though.

She is all back together and purring like a kitten. Sitting at the tire shop to get the old girl some new shoes then off to get it inspected. Finally I can get back to RC related stuff.

Dual BuildNew PAU 35cc Edge and 35cc Extra

I have to agree with you there. I set up a profile on high voltage and the extra power was nice but the servos got so much faster that I had to dial in a bunch more expo to get them back to my liking. Just pulled the high voltage setup out and went back to a 6volt setup.

Working on the truck some more. Got the timing cover off and I'm glad I did. As you can see the timing belt isn't far from breaking. Got the new water pump installed and will do the timing belt in the morning as I gotta borrow a tool from work to get the harmonic balancer off.
