    Dan River Fly-In October 18-19

Sorry mark I actually did not take any pictures that day. For the flyer I was pulling them from what others posted on Facebook from that weekend.

    O.S. GGT10 10cc Gasoline Engine & Muffler

Not sure when I will be able to afford one. Saving for a dle20 for a slab kit I have. I also love my slimers and am still flying one with a 55ax one with a 46ax and a second 46ax waiting on the airframe to be completed.

    Dan River Fly-In October 18-19

I know mark I thought my club was gonna go with a different weekend but alas they didn't. Will get the flyer posted on Monday. I finished it up at work Thursday night but saved it to the work computer so gotta wait until I go back in.

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

It lacks a little but not much. A 4S setup with a 12x6 prop would probably be ballistic power but that will make the plane even more nose heavy. I'm ordering a couple nice wood props of the same pitch I have now and one of a little more pitch to try out. Wood will do a couple things though take...

I want one. Looks like a 55AX with a pump and big carb on it. Be willing to give one a try on one of my 40 size slabs.

The stix41 lives and she flys great. A little on the nose heavy side but I will work on that. Here is the maiden flight video.

Same way the engine box on my 30% Carden cap looks except mine still has the top and bottom plates on them. Need to glue my new firewall in so I can stuff that thing and fly it.

    3D Viper build log (maybe)

I believe terry said he had good results gluing the pieces together and then running a bead of medium ca down the joint and sprinkling micro balloons on it. Adds very little weight and makes a pretty little fillet.

These work great. I'm working on a 24" long one for myself for when sanding wings.

Mark I should have the flyer to you before the weekend. I will not be able to make it as my club has scheduled their fly in that Saturday and I'm in charge of running it this year.

All stuffed and ready for a maiden. Weighs 43oz with the 4S 2200mah setup and balances slightly nose heavy. Weighs 39oz on the 3S 2200mah setup and seems to be pretty neutrally balanced. Should be fun. Also had to get my fleet cleaned up and prepped for the probro fly in this Saturday my club...

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Got it all covered last night. Tried a new method for the fuse as I new it would be difficult to lay down this scheme over an open structure. Cut all my pieces and them tack them all together over a piece of glass. Worked like a charm and really helps keep down on bubbles as I don't have to...
