Totally agreed. I will probably also learn to use Fusion 360 as well since its a free software and I can use it at home. Problem with inventor through work is we have a limited number of license for it so we all share a database. That being said it will not work when I'm at home unless I remote...

Nice. Never used solid works. Only learning inventor now as I get a free copy of it through work since we use it for all our design work.

Nice work on the 3D model. I’ve been learning to use Autodesk Inventor and it’s been a fun process.

More progress. Got the main spar notch cut and the spar glued in. Also might have gone slightly overboard using the router attachment for the dremel to put pockets in the surface of the wing for the servos to recess down into. Finally got the bottom vertical fuse piece glued for good.

Paint is complete and got the spar glued into the elevator. Maybe I will have an assembled airframe by the end of the week.

I can share the plans if you would like. Very simple plane to cut out and build. The two in my pic are the first of their kind. Only just drew the plans up for them two weeks ago.

Well the second kit is headed to a buddy in KY who I know can give me good feed back on how it flys. I can share the plans though. And what questions do you have on the glitter JR. I have built six of them.

Cut out a couple foamie glitters this morning. I think @Snoopy1 needs to cut one as well to go with his new 20cc glitter. Now to decide on paint and get one together. Looks like it should build out to a little over 8 ounces so a little heavier than I was hoping but should still fly just fine

Yes laminate them together. You can go 3/4" fuse if you want but 5/8" will be plenty strong. Yes Vertical fin should be 3/8" if built per the plans. Snoopy did his slightly different as he ended up air foiling the control surfaces, but doing it per plans the way I would is build the fuse as one...
