It does, trying to post it on Craig's list but can't seem to log it. I took it apart today and have the new base and column in place. Need a mag base drill to drill the mounting holes now. The old column was 2 5/8" x 3/16" wall, new column is 3 5/8" x 5/8" wall. New neighbor that moved in...- TonyHallo

Picked up a new to me Mill/Drill, Wholesale Tool KDM 15. Built in 1980, made in Taiwan, stlll has the cosmoline on it. Just a little bigger than mine but much more robust. It is in pieces in the back of my van. Need to get mine out of the way and start to build the new one in it's place...- TonyHallo

Spent the winter looking at the plug for the windshield, it was in the garage where the setting sun would cast shadows. Really didn't care for the shape so a quart of Bondo putty and I'm happier with the shape of it. Couple coats of primer and a guide coat and it may be ready for color coat...- TonyHallo

On to the cooling air exhaust. Cut 1" slits in the bottom of the cowl to the bend line, with the cowl weighted along the bend line, clamped scrap balsa to facilitate the bend. Finished the exhaust. I used 1/2" streamline copper fitting for the bends and 5/8" KS brass tube. The tube is .014" wall. Cut the ends of the fitting off so that the tube engages 1/16" to reduce weight. The "Y" pipe is connected to the rear section of exhaust with a silicon tube provided...- TonyHallo

All the linkage work is completed. Discovered that 5/8" KS tube slips right over the stock 15mm o.d. exhaust tubes. Silver brazed a "Y" fitting to collect both pipes into one. Worked on the nose wheel a little today, cut the strut to length to eliminate interference with the carburetor, made a teflon ring to hold the strut in the bearing block, and drilled and tapped for the 8-32 control horn.
