    Flew the Alula flying wing glider in an open field. I can see how this can be addictive. Now I just need a slope and some wind. Managed to run the dog and stroll the baby at the same time. Rode two small lift bubbles one circle. Not bad for a little foam wing

    All the hinge blocks in place, hatch supports, and made my own anti-rotation pin block that’s combined with the hinge block. Sheeting is next!

    Been too busy building the other wing! This morning: Sand and test fit each rib the tube sleeve goes through. Much easier to do now than later: Saved the ugly spar for last. Picture is bad. But that this is all over the place. Tamed it with glue. Tube sleeve in place. Time for bed.

    Done with the aileron and basically done with the flap. Just need to do some more sanding on the flap leading edges. No surprises here. Pics skip back and forth from aileron to flap.

    Not sure how many of you use Facebook... follow Seagull Models. They constantly are posting factory building and construction techniques as they put together some models. It’s very educational and also give you an idea of how they do it.

    After 15 flights: The motor is still breaking in. The canopy has a little play in it side to side. But not up and down whatsoever. I wished they used Kevlar or even fiberglass at these areas as it’s doesn’t wear like carbon does. The magnetic fuel dot from NWRC has popped out 75% of the flights...

    Fitting the wing tip. Sanded flush, fitted the rib by trimming and sanding, 30min epoxy, and taped in place.
