    Upper front wing/ cabin area just free floats, nothing tied to the framework at all. I'm to finding some online Cub photos indicating some cross brace structural support. Once I confirm this, game on as I'm tired of fretting over this problem.

    Filling in the cabin/ fuse ribs tonight. This is thicker balsa so straight gluing to ribs.

    It wasn't all idiots stranded that night. There were 10's of thousands of stranded cars (100,000?). It took me 11 hours to go 15 miles. I was a absolute rarity in getting home but my country upbringing helped immensely.

    A couple of Tropicalias for lunch and I went home and took a nap. Easy day work wise, was hardly involved at all.

    Hobby room starting to clear out. Plenty of room for toys. The mill looks good in its location.

    First and second rib infill tonight. I put some support under to give me an easy landing spot and I didn't have to worry about precise cutting.

    Planes maintenance today. 70+ degrees so why not. I make notes on flying day and many notes had built up so knocked a few of my list. I can use the same picture in the 'what beer did you drink today?' discussion section here. Mike knows what I mean.

    It's the ice that forms regularly under the snow that causes the most problems. Our 'Snowpocalpse' a few years ago was actually ice (2") under a dusting of snow.

    3DHS 75" EDGE 540 V2 Assembly Thread

    I'm going to fly my 107" Yak with a DA120 this weekend (removed my 3W106 with canisters). With mufflers but I'm not happy. I have canisters on everything, I hate mufflers. I would do anything I could to get a canister on that plane. Welcome to GSN.

    Thinking that this wing lock idea will be fine for the front spar. I'll just leave the scale bracket unused inside the cabin. Drilled and countersunk before I cut the bevel. This is just pine wood, a trial piece. It looks like I need about a 2" bolt so this is on hold until McMaster Carr...
