    BME-102 or 3W-100??

ok, i don't see a TOC on the case. what does the 100i-B2 mean? just a later version of the engine? i'm going to mount it this week to the new firewall and get the cowl aligned. after that i'm going to send it back for service so it'll be fresh and ready to go when the plane is done. thanks...

    BME-102 or 3W-100??

The 3W is a 100i B2, does that mean anything other than that it's a 100cc? I've seen references to TOC engines, doe the "i B2" mean it's one of them? It can probably use a replacement carb (the throttle and choke mechanisms are really loose) but I don't see any google hits when I enter...

5 Ply vs. 7 Ply Plywood

Hi Guys, I bought a sheet of 3/8" birch plywood the other day but it's 5 ply instead of 7 ply. It's for a landing gear attach plate and a firewall. I think it's fine for the landing gear attach plate but what about the firewall? I only mention it because I noticed just now that the plans...

2015 Extreme 3D Fest Pics!! Post 'em if ya got 'em!!!

Thanks for posting the pics @Terryscustom and @thelaw Glad to see they had a great event, nothing worse than doing all of that planning and then seeing the weather move in or the heat ratchet up. It's hard to make all of them but it helps to know when you only miss the best!

    Soggy but flyable

Thanks for posting the video Gene. What OSD is that overlaid on your video? A bad day at the field is better than a good day at work? That applies, no?

Gasser Throttle Servo, What Do You Like?

Had a small handful of old hitec 101 mini servos, I'm down to my last few but that's what I use. The new Challenger has all new HV MKS servos but even there I've got a mini on the throttle. The concept of standardizing across airframes makes sense to keep spares simple but for those starting...

Thanks everyone @pawnshopmike @cbarnes0061 @thepamster @rcbobp @Jetpainter It took forever to get it flying for a variety of reasons but here's a preview of things to come, it's called my Get Stuff Done plan. First I'll plan, then I'll start a project, then work on it, and finally complete...

Sport PAU 27% Pitts Challenger Build/Review

OK, so the airplane is done and we had a chance to get it out and fly it yesterday. I was going to try to do a wrap up video of the build before posting the flight results but with the kids home and an epic honey-do list waiting for me at every turn, it'll have to wait. Here's the flight...
